Challenge

The challenge was just the "spork" It is already a joke. There’s nothing to ‘elevate.’ No story, no personality, nothing to work with. It’s just there, being half-spoon, half-fork

Solution

My solution was to lean into the stupidity instead of fighting it. I used a super sketchy, intentionally bad illustration style and paired it with deadpan humor.

An idea I had over the summer was to take something dumb and kinda pointless, like the spork, and try to make it look legit, just to see how far I could push a product that’s seen as joke.
